Prestoncraft Warranty

Summary of the Preston Craft warranty policy for recreational boats as of 11/2008.

The welded structural Preston Craft hull carries a 10 year warranty.

The components which are supplied by external sources are subject to their own manufacturers warranty which varies from product to product, but will not be less than 12 months.

Paint is warranted against defective paint or application for a period of twelve months and not against oxidation,electrolysis and minor disturbances around stainless fittings.Preston Craft takes the utmost care with aluminium fittings and components  used where ever possible . It is the owners responsibility to ensure that the boat is thoroughly washed down with fresh water after use and to ensure no salt residue is left on the boat.

We recommend that you wash your Preston Craft with Salt-Away salt removing treatment after use in salt water, we can supply you with this product or you can purchase it at www.salt-away.com.au

Any work agreed to be repaired by Preston Craft will be done ex factory and freighting costs to and from the factory will be the purchasers responsibility.

The warranty can be transferred to the new owner if you resell your boat within the 10 year warranty period.
